Soundproof road across Beijing zoo opens to traffic

 

Workers work on the construction site of a covered road that crosses over the Beijing Zoo November 12, 2007. One thousand meters long, it is the first enclosed stretch of  road in the capital, and was built withinsulatingmaterials to minimize traffic noise to the zoo animals. [Beijing Evening News]
