Two dressed-up girls of Miao ethnic minority make preparation for roasting carp in a village of Rongshui county, South China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, November 1, 2007. It is the local tradition that people release fry into paddy fields when transplanting rice seedlings. The carp will grow much larger at the time of harvesting paddy.
