Some marriages, it seems, are just meant to be. A couple named Jiao, the bridegroom, and Wang, were born the same day 27 years ago, in the same delivery room of a hospital in Baoding, Hebei Province.

They were brought up in the city but surprisingly were not aware of each other until they met two years ago. Someone who knew they were born at the identical hospital introduced them. It turned out they were both majoring in Japanese at college. The two fell in love as soon as they realized they had so many things in common. On Saturday they tied the knot with the blessings of their parents who used to work in the same factory 27 years ago.
