A woman, surnamed Mo, was seriously wounded after a big duck, falling through the sky, crashed through the windscreen of her car in Guilin, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, on Monday.

The incident took place in the morning when Mo's car was driving on Huanchengxi Road in the city. Mo was sitting next to the driver and suffered injuries on her face and legs when the 2-kg duck shattered the car's windscreen.

Mo was immediately taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

But why and how the duck fell down from the roadside building is still unknown.
