A rock, which is supposed to be from the seabed in ancient times, is
pictured July 6, 2007 in a desert geologic park in Alashan, Inner Mongolia
Autonomous Region. The vast Alashan desert geologic park, comprising of
Badain Jaran, Tengger and Ulan Buh deserts, is planned and under
construction. In the 938.4-square-kilometer park, there will be rich
tourism resources, including desert, Gobi, sand dunes, lakes, stone
forests and fossils. |
