A lake lies in the Badain Jaran Desert in Inner Mongolia Autonomous
Region in this photo taken on June 26, 2007. A vast Alashan desert
geologic park, comprising of Badain Jaran, Tengger and Ulan Buh deserts,
is planned and under construction. In the 938.4-square-kilometer park,
there will be rich tourism resources, including desert, Gobi, sand dunes,
