| A man rests in a temporary shelter as a pending massive landslide
threatens his village in Yunyang county, Chongqing municipality in
southwest China June 24, 2007. Cracks have developed on the mountains and
the village ground was sinking. The local government has organized the
evacuation of 271 villagers. The village, in the Three Gorges Reservoir
area, is prone to natural disasters as
