Villagers evacuated for pending landslides

Cracks have developed on the mountains and the village ground was sinking. The local government has organized the evacuation of 271 villagers as a massive landslide is pending, threatening the safety of their lives and property. The village, in the Three Gorges Reservoir area, is prone to natural disasters as landslides.[newsphoto]
