BEIJING - Chinese shares closed mixed Friday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.32 points, or 0.01 percent, to finish at 2,357.18.
The Shenzhen Component Index edged down 0.08 percent, or 7.49 points, to end at 9,615.34.
