Chinese stocks close higher Wednesday

BEIJING - Chinese shares closed higher Wednesday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index up 0.94 percent, or 21.93 points, to finish at 2,366.7.
The Shenzhen Component Index rose 1.36 percent, or 129.66 points, to end at 9,673.44.
