HONG KONG - Hong Kong's foreign currency reserves reached $282.5 billion by the end of November, 2011, up $0.8 billion compared with the end of October, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority said on Wednesday.

The $282.5 billion foreign currency reserve assets represent about nine times the currency in circulation or 55 percent of Hong Kong dollars M3.
