HONG KONG -- Hong Kong stocks rose 232.76 points or 1.29 percent, to close at 18,309.22 on Wednesday.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index traded between 18,203.99 and 18, 426.29. Turnover totaled 57.44 billion HK dollars ($7.39 billion).
