Employees are 'greatest asset'

In pursuit of a people-centered principle, BMW values its staff as a key factor in its development. In China, the 15,000 employees working with BMW are viewed as the company's greatest asset and a driving force for company's growth.

BMW's core values include good working conditions along with a sense of family and belonging. Its recruiting programs are based on equality and fairness while offering compensation and social security programs to its staff.

The company provides career and even personal interest development for its staff while caring for their physical and mental health.

To promote production safety, a contest within BMW last June included five teams while sports activities such as basketball, soccer and badminton matches were also held to enhance their physical health and working enthusiasm.

An employee club has organized free swimming courses, health salons and photography sessions for physical and mental relaxation, improvements in quality of life and ultimately renewed energy into work.
