Hong Kong stocks close above 22,500 points

Hong Kong stocks jumped 379.21 points, or 1.71 percent, to close at 22,589.73 on Friday.

Turnover rose to HK$76.00 billion (about $9.82 billion) from Thursday's HK$69.95 billion (about $9.04 billion).
