Chinese embassy in Bangladesh holds flag-raising ceremony

Chinese embassy in Bangladesh held a flag-raising ceremony Thursday to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the founding of People's Republic of China.

Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Zhang Xianyi hosted the ceremony.

With the rising sun, the five-star red flag rose to the accompaniment of the solemn national anthem.

Zhang Xianyi said, at the ceremony, "Today is an important and glorious day for every Chinese, it witnessed the process our motherland has passed through. We hold this flag-raising ceremony to mark our 60 years of founding anniversary. We wish our motherland more prosperous, and wish our motherland have a much better future."

All the staff in the embassy attended the ceremony. They expressed their sincere congratulations to China's National Day and wish China all the best and long live.
