Construction steel stocks continue to rise in Shanghai

Construction steel stocks in the Shanghai market have climbed for the 11th consecutive week. The pre-holiday scenario was gloomier than expected with the price of construction steel nudging down in both the spot and futures markets. The frail trend is expected to hold on for a while. After the week-long holiday, local stocks are expected to return to 800,000 tons as seen in early this year. The market would remain fragile, if not collapse, before the pressure of mounted stocks is lifted...
