The eight-day-long National Day holiday is still more than one month away, but many tourist attractions have already announced a hike in ticket prices, the Shanghai Evening Post reported Wednesday.

From August 1st, tourist attractions in several places including Beijing, Tianjin and Sichuan raised their ticket prices ranging from 10 yuan ($1.46) to 110 yuan, according to the Hushang Tourist Agency in Shanghai.

Some tourist attractions are also reportedly raising cable car admission prices in order to increase revenue. A single trip ticket on the cable car at E’mei Mountain in Sichuan province, for example, has gone up by 25 yuan.

The National Day holiday will last from October 1st to 8th this year.
