China to float over $4b ten-year T-bonds

A batch of ten-year book-entry treasury bonds worthy of 28.3 billion yuan ($4.14 billion) will be offered on Thursday, said the Chinese Ministry of Finance in Beijing on Wednesday.

This is the 16th batch of its kind launched by the ministry this year.

According to a statement with the ministry, the batch of long-term T-bonds, with a fixed annual interests of 3.48 percent, will be sold to the public from July 23 to July 27. Interests will be paid every half year.

The bonds will become tradable on July 29 through the national inter-bank bond market and over the counters of designated commercial banks.
