PetroChina may invest in Scotland plant

PetroChina Co may invest in the Grangemouth oil-processing plant in Scotland, which would give the company its first European refining operation.

The company also said it would also buy the western pipeline assets of its parent CNPC for 9.71 billion yuan.

PetroChina said the assets purchase include one crude oil pipeline and one refined oil pipeline.
