BOC Aviation, the aviation leasing unit of the Bank of China, said on Tuesday that it would lease two Airbus A319-100s to Czech Airlines.

The planes will be delivered in 2009 and 2010 respectively, and will fly the company's key routes notably between central and eastern Europe.

No information was available for the length of the leasing contract.

"Our corporation dated back to 2005 when BOC Aviation leased two Airbus A320s to the airlines, and we are very happy to get your support again to expand our aircraft fleet," said Lubos Cerny, vice president for economics of the airlines.

The Singapore-based leasing company has 83 aircraft flying worldwide and another 73 aircraft on firm order for delivery through to 2013.

On March 19, the company signed a contract to lease two Boeing 777-300ERs to Air Canada.
