Beijing to Shifang in Sichuan and Longnan in Gansu

Ten thousands of Beijing's 80,000 temporary houses made before the notice was issued will go to Longnan in Gansu province. The remaining 70,000 units will be constructed in Jiangyou and Anxian in Sichuan province.

On May 25, the first relief train set off from Beijing for Shifang city in Sichuan. It's also the fourth such train from Beijing to Sichuan.

The train arrived in Shifang on May 27 with more than 30 tons of relief materials valued at over 68 million yuan ($9.81 million), including food, medicine, clothing, quilts and other living necessities, as well 100 units of insulated temporary houses and 1,626 tents.

It also carried 1.2 million yuan worth of toys and books for the kids there for Children's Day on June 1.

Tianjin to Maoxian in Sichuan and Gannan in Gansu

Tianjin municipality has decided to supply 30,000 more temporary houses over its original 80,000 units with total investment of over 1 billion yuan.

The 20 sq m homes are equipped with individual toilets and kitchens.

Tianjin will also provide life necessities in Maoxian county in Sichuan and Gannan county in Gansu.

Shanghai to Dujiangyan in Sichuan

Shanghai's Baosteel Group has begun construction of large tents and 1,200 temporary houses for at least 6,000 homeless people in Dujiangyan county in Sichuan province. Shanghai Greenland Group will also build a Hope School in the city.

The education bureau of Putuo district will send teachers to Dujiangyan and every school in the district will provide support to a sister school in Dujiangyan.

Hunan to Pengzhou in Sichuan

Hunan province has sent a team of 78 sanitation supervisors and more than 100 epidemic prevention personnel to Pengzhou county in Sichuan.

Hubei to Hanyuan in Sichuan

Hubei province has donated 10 million yuan to Hanyuan for relief efforts.

To ensure shelter for victims, Hubei will send 40,000 temporary houses to Hanyuan and 22,000 tents.

China Gezhouba Group Corp has built 10,000 sq m of tents and housing to shelter more than 200 refugees. It is also helping three stricken schools and a hospital.
