China's first homegrown large cruise ship, the Adora Magic City, docked at the Qingdao international cruise home port on Sunday, marking the official launch of its coastal cruise operations.

Though the ship commenced commercial service on January 1, 2024, this Qingdao stopover marked its debut at a Chinese port outside its home port in Shanghai.

From April 6 to 10, the vessel set sail from Qingdao International Cruise Terminal carrying more than 4,000 guests on its international itinerary, with port calls in Jeju, South Korea, and Fukuoka, Japan.

The Adora Magic City measures 323.6 meters long, boasts a gross tonnage of 136,200 metric tons, and offers 2,125 luxurious cabins and suites.
