China's 20th Coal & Mining Expo kicks off in Beijing
The 20th China Coal & Mining Expo kicked off Wednesday in Beijing, showcasing the latest global mining advancements with the theme of intelligent manufacturing and green development.
Hosted by the China National Coal Association, the exhibition attracted participants from 18 countries and regions, and nearly 1,000 exhibitors who showcased over 8,000 products.
During the opening ceremony, Li Yanjiang, Party secretary of the China National Coal Association, said innovation is a major theme this year.
Li said coal machinery manufacturers have made significant progress in intelligent, safe, efficient, green and low-carbon mining, promising a more automated, safe, efficient and eco-friendly mining industry.
He said the expo has become, and will continue to be, an important platform to promote global communication and cooperation in the sector.
