Wtown to reopen on Children’s Day
Beijing Wtown in the city's Miyun district will resume operations on Children's Day, June 1.
The resort will offer ticket-free access to children under 14 for a month, according to the resort's administration.
Experiences featuring night tours of the Great Wall and family interactions have been prepared.
The move follows the effective control of the COVID outbreak in the capital.
Visitor numbers will be capped at 50 percent of the resort's capacity.
Certain indoor sites and restaurants will be closed. Visitors need to present a health code and nucleic acid test results in line with COVID control and prevention requirements.
The town offers a water scene and a section of the Great Wall, with stone-paved streets and gray and yellow brick houses on the riverside.
