Tourism changes people's lives in rural China

Poverty is one of the most talked-about issues worldwide. But the rapid development of tourism in recent years has provided a path to poverty alleviation for many poverty-stricken areas and impoverished people.

The short video series "Better Tourism, Better Life, Better World" record Chinese people's experiences in poverty reduction. The trips go deep into China's rural areas, from Hainan, Guangxi and Guizhou to Fujian, Jiangxi, Anhui and Hebei.
