Theatre Tea recently opened its Sanlitun branch in Beijing, bringing the capital another chic space for drink, food and art.

Founded in 2016, the modern teahouse chain features creative tea-infused mocktails and tea-flavored desserts. The decor of new branch in Sanlitun is inspired by theater and aims to create an urban tea garden for customers.

Inspirations for the mocktails are drawn from impressionism paintings from the 19th century. "La Classe de Danse", a signature mocktail inspired by French artist Edgar Degas' namesake painting, is made with lychee white tea, coconut milk and homemade lychee white tea syrup.

Desserts at Theatre Tea are all infused with tea and cream and topped with seasonal fruits, which make them light and fresh.
