Michelin-starred chef Luke Armstrong joins TRB

Michelin-starred chef Luke Armstrong was named new executive chef at TRB Hutong & TRB Forbidden City,  said Ignace Lecleir, TRB's owner and founder.

Armstrong has spent more than a decade working in a string of world-celebrated kitchens -- from legendary triple Michelin-starred Oud Sluis in the Netherlands to London's one-star Pied a Terre.

He won culinary acclaim at Bacchanalia restaurant in Singapore and a Michelin star in 2017. In 2019 and 2020, Armstrong became chef de cuisine at  Signature in Tokyo and collected many awards including one Michelin star twice.

At TRB, he designed two sets of menus for diners in the capital as his way of offering his respect to both the seasons and to regional flavors.
