US border open to foreign travel

Airline bookings have increased significantly after the restrictions were lifted on Oct 25. American Airlines saw its bookings over the three days after the announcement went up 66 percent for flights between Britain and the US, 40 percent for those from Europe, and 74 percent for Brazil.

United Airlines said that it sold more tickets for transatlantic flights recently than during a similar period in 2019. Delta said most of its 139 planes from 38 countries into the US were full on Monday.
