US firm InterSystems to help digital transformation in healthcare sector

The company launched interoperability kits aimed at facilitating the hospital connectivity certification this year, which combines high performance and stability, supporting hundreds of large public hospitals to operate stably with massive data.

Brustia said the government recently established interoperability certification requirements for hospitals to enable standardized data sharing across hospitals in China. "We are proud of more than 100 hospitals that we've helped to achieve the certification, laying the foundation for more effective, coordinated care delivery."

He added that despite the progress made in healthcare IT over the past decade, hospitals and health systems continue to struggle with the collection, normalization, analysis and application of data to make timely clinical and business decisions. 

According to him, data integration and interoperability are still the biggest challenges to achieving strategic data analysis priorities for next step.
