Dragon Boat Festival promoted in Tanzania through short videos

The Dragon Boat Festival also has a special meaning for Tanzanian Chinese. A Chinese person who has lived in Tanzania for a long time told us: "Tanzanian overseas Chinese attach great importance to the festival. Every Dragon Boat Festival, our Chinese supermarkets and Chinese communities will prepare all kinds of zongzi, and we will get together for the festival. This year, we can't get together because of the epidemic. We will make zongzi at home with our children for the festival, and tell them the festival’s origins to deepen their understanding of Chinese culture."
