China suffer three-game losing streak at men's curling worlds

TORONTO - Chinese men's curling team lost three straight games at the men's curling world championships on Sunday, ranking in 10th among 13 teams.

The 2019 men's world curling championship has been held from March 30 to April 7 in Lethbridge, Canada.

China lost the first game 9-4 to Sweden, the defending champion. Despite the adjustments had been made in draw 3 facing Japan, China still fell behind early and was beaten 9-6.

In the third game that just ended, the two-time world champion Canada overtook China 8-6 and remained unbeaten, inflicting the Chinese a three-game losing streak.

In the women's championship ended on March 24, the Chinese women team reached semifinal again after eight years.

China will meet Italy at draw 7 on Monday.
