China to phase out sales of traditional automobiles in Hainan

BEIJING - China will gradually phase out sales of traditional oil-fueled vehicles in the southern island province of Hainan, according to a document unveiled Saturday.
The document on supporting Hainan's efforts to deepen reform and opening-up was jointly released by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council.
