Chad president sends new year greetings to President Hu Jintao

BEIJING: Chad President Idriss Deby Itno has written to his Chinese counterpart Hu Jintao, extending new year greetings to the Chinese people.
On behalf of his government and Chadians, Deby warmly congratulated the Chinese people on the coming Chinese new year.
He reaffirmed his personal commitment to further develop and strengthen the fruitful and friendly cooperation between the two countries.
The president also said he hoped Chad-China friendly cooperation would be enhanced and that the Chinese people make greater achievement under the leadership of President Hu in the new year.
