The Kenya wildlife services, a state agency responsible for wildlife conservation, is making the final touches in preparation for the Ivory burn slated for 30 April.

A total of 11 ivory piers, consisting of 105 tons of ivory and another pile of more than one ton of rhino horns are ready for the ceremony that will be presided over by President Uhuru Kenyatta.

Other heads of state expected to attend the ceremony are Uganda's President Yoweri Museveni, Gabon's President Ali Bondo Ondimba, and high leveled delegations from several other African countries.
