Huge Malaysia rally for Najib's resignation enters 2nd day

A protestor shouts as thousands of Malaysians march through the city streets during a BERSIH (The Coalition for Free and Fair Elections) rally in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, August 29, 2015. Bersih 4.0 planned as the fourth large rally held in three Malaysian cities on and August 29 and 30, to push for Prime Minister Najib Razak's resignation as well as institutional reforms to prevent prime ministerial corruption. The rally comes amid allegations that some 700 million US dollar (622 million euro) was deposited into Najib's personal bank accounts and alleged mismanagement of debt-ridden state investor 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB). KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia - Big crowds of protesters returned to the streets of Kuala Lumpur on Sunday to demand the resignation of Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak over a financial scandal, after the first day of the massive rally passed peacefully.

The protesters camped overnight wearing yellow shirts of the Bersih movement _ the coalition for clean and fair elections _ even after authorities blocked the organizer's website and banned yellow attire and the group's logo in a bid to deter the rallies, which were also held in other Malaysian cities.
