Lina Antanaviciene, the ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania, attended Monday's show at the National Center for the Performing Arts on July 8. The Baltic Guitar Quartet played arranged and original pieces for the intimate crowd.
This year marks the 760th anniversary of the coronation of Mindaugas, the first king that unified the Lithuanian people and lands in 1253.
During the cocktail reception prior to the performance, Antanaviciene made a toast to unity and friendship. Embassy staff served authentic Lithuanian snacks and liquors.
Photos by Lithuanian photographer Jonas Danauskas and videos by the China Daily multimedia team were exhibited at the reception.
