TOKYO -- A FedEx cargo plane made emergency landing at Tokyo's Narita airport Friday morning, briefly closing the main runway again after a same jet model of FedEx crashed there last month, the airport authorities said.

The McDonnell Douglas MD-11 plane returned to the airport after it took off for South Korea's Incheon airport because its pilot felt unusual vibrations near the aircraft's front wheel, an airport official said.

No one was hurt in the incident. However, the emergency landing closed the main runway of Narita for a few minutes before the plane took off a few hours later.

Last month, a FedEx cargo plane from China's Guangzhou crashed in high winds and exploded at Narita, killing both two US pilots.
