The Pearl River Yuexiu Park Yuexiu Park is one of the earliest parks of Guangzhou and is a large-scale comprehensive park. It is a park of mountains. It belongs to the ending ranges of Baiyun Mountain, stretching for 3km from the east to the west with an altitude of over 70 meters. >>> Baiyun Mountain is made up of over 30 peaks with a mountain area of 28 sq km, equivalent to the total area of Macao. The highest peak Moxing Peak is 382 meters and is the highest in Guangzhou. ![]() Ji Zai Biscuits Ji Zai Biscuits, Guangzhou's leading kind of biscuits, was originally known as "Xiao Feng Biscuits". Legend has it that Ji Zai Biscuits were created by a female domestic helper of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911). But, the biscuits didn't become famous until half a century later when, frustrated by the sluggish sales of mid-autumn festival moon cakes, biscuit makers at Guangzhou's Chengzhu Teahouse made the bold move to adopt the Xiao Feng biscuit production technique and use a mixture of mashed moon cakes, pork and cabbage hearts as fillings to produce sweet, salty and crispy flavor. Guangzhou-style Cured Sausages can be cooked in various ways to suit personal taste, such as instant food, fried with vegetables, or become part of an cold dish.
