Siming district secures 162 projects worth 100 billion yuan at CIFIT

Siming district, Xiamen held an investment cooperation conference and project signing ceremony on the afternoon of Sept 8.
During the 25th China International Fair for Investment and Trade (CIFIT), the district welcomed numerous "urban partners" from all directions, with a total of 162 projects successfully signed, representing a total investment exceeding 100 billion yuan ($14 billion). This year’s number of district-level signed projects and investment volume marked the highest in the past three years.

At the beginning of this year, Siming district established six industrial investment task forces covering key sectors such as headquarters economy, industrial and software information industries, commercial and trade services, financial services, cultural tourism and creative industries, and construction.
During the conference, the six major industrial departments of Siming district made their collective debut, delivering a comprehensive presentation on the district's investment environment across all sectors.
At the signing ceremony, a number of projects officially entered into agreements with Siming district, covering sectors such as headquarters economy, AI, financial services, cultural tourism and commerce, and healthcare. Investors involved included large central State-owned enterprises, industry leaders, and foreign-funded companies.
The event also featured an investment advisor appointment ceremony, with advisors specializing in artificial intelligence, new energy, information technology, fintech, culture and tourism, and other related fields.
