Driven by pillar industries such as technology, Siming district achieved a GDP of nearly 300 billion yuan ($41.8 billion) in 2024, marking a 5.5 percent year-on-year growth. Its fiscal revenue exceeded 40 billion yuan, maintaining its position as the top-ranked county, city or district in Fujian for the ninth year in a row.
