4th Siming Civilized Lifestyle Fashion Season kicks off

The 2025 Siming Civilized Lifestyle Fashion Season, featuring the theme "Global Civility, International Fun", was launched in Siming district, Xiamen, on May 31, alongside the creative zongzi (rice dumpling) wrapping competition for "Our Festival: Dragon Boat Celebration".

The event created an international vibe by inviting foreign guests to experience traditional Dragon Boat Festival customs, fostering cultural exchange and mutual learning.

By seamlessly merging traditional culture with modern fashion, the activity offered many memorable moments, attracting over 10.54 million online and offline participants.

Over 100 families attended the event, with special participation from international guests and model citizen families, who formed an international team.

For their first time, the international team made their own zongzi under the guidance of volunteers.

This year, Siming district established Fujian province's first "Civilized Practice Belt", integrating historical and cultural resources, and popular tourist check-in spots to create a new open, interactive, and immersive experience of civilized practices.

During the event, representatives from the Civilized Business Alliance were invited and honored with the title of "Siming Civilization Partners". Ten alliance members offered exclusive discounts to residents, further stimulating local consumption.
