Amoy Starlight Concert lights up Siming's culture and tourism

The May Special Edition of Amoy Starlight Coast Light and Music Concert was held at Xiamen's landmark film culture destination — the Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Starlight Coast in Siming district on the evening of May 16. 

The concert featured three thematic artistic segments designed around the core themes of Labor Day, Youth Day, and Mother's Day. Locals enthusiastically took to the immersive music stage, expressing their passions and emotions through iconic film soundtracks, filling the city night with warmth and vitality.

Music enthusiasts from various professions and local Xiamen singer-songwriters performed with uninhibited passion. Visually impaired music creator Lai Qinglin presented his original composition, interpreting his profound understanding of life and emotions through a unique musical perspective, demonstrating to the audience the boundless possibilities of artistic expression.

The Starlight Singer Season, a supporting event of the Amoy Starlight Concert series, has officially opened for registration. The online talent call is open to everybody. With a champion prize of 30,000 yuan ($4,158), the competition adopts a progressive tournament system to provide a broad performance platform for more music lovers pursuing their musical dreams.

The concert represents Siming district's innovative integration of film, music, and culture with an immersive public stage. This initiative promotes the flourishing development of cultural programs and industries.
