Siming rolls out highlights of 2025 extensive fitness-for-all activities

Siming district, Xiamen recently shared details about their 2025 extensive fitness-for-all activities. The program will focus on three major mass sports brand events.

This year, the newly created "Siming Runs, Runs in Siming" IP will be a key focus, with at least 17 themed events planned throughout the year to enhance the urban sports experience, create a new urban sports landscape, and establish a new IP for extensive fitness.

As a unique sports industry IP in Siming, the Siming Sports Fashion Season has held five editions, attracting approximately 280,000 athletes from over 60 countries and regions, nearly 1,000 high-end sports professionals, 79 international and national-level associations, and over 100 enterprises to participate.

In 2025, the Siming Sports Fashion Season will host high-profile events such as the 2025 Volleyball World Beach Pro Tour Challenge, utilizing tourist resources like Zhongshan Road and Island Ring Boulevard. It will feature six major sports events covering athletics, yoga, rugby, frisbee, and other diverse fields.

The elderly population is a significant force in promoting extensive fitness. The upcoming 6th Siming Elderly Sports and Fitness Conference will stimulate the comprehensive development of "silver sports".

In 2024, Siming made three breakthroughs in event quality, consumer engagement, and brand influence, hosting six major international and domestic events. The events generated 250 million yuan ($34.1 million) in sports consumption throughout the year, promoting the high-quality integration of culture, sports, tourism, and commerce in Siming district.
