The 30th China International Advertising Festival was held in the coastal city of Xiamen, Fujian province from Nov 17 to 19.
As this year marks the 40th anniversary of the China Advertising Association, the organizing committee of the festival created a larger, more exciting advertising festival that had a stronger festive atmosphere.
This year's event consisted of various forums and sharing sessions, as well as nine professional exhibitions, including the 2023 World Outstanding Advertising Works Exhibition, Media and Enterprise Exhibition, and Great Nation's Innovative Products Exhibition, among others.
John D Chacko, vice-president of the International Advertising Association (IAA), congratulated the China Advertising Association on its 40th anniversary and the 30th China International Advertising Festival during the opening ceremony.
"Digital advertising and e-commerce platforms have been widely used in China, becoming an indispensable part of people's lives. Advanced advertising platforms allow companies to accurately and effectively target consumers. Based on the vitality of the Chinese advertising industry and the growth of the Chinese economy, China will continue to play an important role in the global advertising industry, he said.
An important hub city along the Maritime Silk Road, Xiamen is a crucial gateway that serves the opening-up of the Belt and Road Initiative. In recent years, Xiamen has seized opportunities and made every effort to promote high-quality development and enhance its city image.
Thanks to its global vision and creative innovation concept, Xiamen has rapidly developed itself into an international convention and exhibition hub. The China International Advertising Festival has brought together international advertising elites, emerging technologies, and innovative ideas to Xiamen.
