A micro-film named Wutong Shu (Sycamore Tree) was recently screened for the first time in the city of Sanmenxia, Henan province.
Local authorities supported the production of the micro-film and attribute it as being the first produced in Lushi county. The film is based on a true story of a young local called Luo Ruiqing. Luo has taken care of his mother, who has learning disabilities for years, at the expense of a decent job in a wealthier city.
Inspired by other entrepreneurs, Luo started his own business of raising pheasants to support his family. Luo is now a successful businessman and was listed as a candidate for the eighth batch of role models with high moral standards in Sanmenxia.
It is hoped that younger generations will learn from Luo Ruiqing through watching the micro-film.
