The city of Xi’an in Shaanxi province is holding an exhibition of ancient bricks and tiles in its Beilin Museum from March 27 to April 15, according to xinhuanet.com.
More than ten dozen items from the Warring States Period (475-221 BC) to the Han Dynasty (206 BC-220) are on show. Depicting antique Chinese characters and delicate images, the bricks and tiles display some of the most characteristic aspects of traditional Chinese culture.
