Xi’an city, Shaanxi province, put on a lantern show on its Xi’an’s City Wall which was lit up on Feb 7 with a colorful display of lanterns. The display on the Ming Dynasty wall (1368-1644) was held to welcome the coming Lunar New Year, according to xinhuanet.com.cn.
Visitors can walk through a splendid corridor to enjoy the different scenes created by various lanterns, such as a forest and submarine world. The show will run until Mar 22.
