The Seventh Qingdao International Beer Festival, with an ox called Bill as its mascot, took place in Stone Man National Tourism Resort from July 8 to 23, 1997. The State-level event, together with the Qingdao Foreign Economic and Trade Fair and the first Qingdao Beverage Expo, promoted the local economy and strengthened international exchange and cooperation.
