Chengdu Tianfu New Area and Chengdu downtown will jointly constitute an international and regional comprehensive transport hub including transport systems and road traffic.

Chengdu Tianfu New Area will construct a highway connection system featuring two east-west lines and four north-south lines. It will also build an expressway connection system featuring three east-west lines and seven north-south lines. It will strengthen express connections between urban clusters of Chengdu Tianfu New Area  and other urban clusters.
