Dong Dengyu, born in 1924, was a soldier of the 2nd Squad, 7th Company, 5th Regiment of the Second Reserve-Division, 11th Group of the Expeditionary Force. He entered the battle of Shuangpo and the Battle of Huangcaoba.
Dong Dengqing, born in 1912, was the squad leader of the medical corps of the 4th Regiment, Second Reserve-Division of the 11th Group of the Expeditionary Force. He had participated in the Battle of Liuku and the Battle of Nujiang River.
